Brownfield Reclamation

The Steel Yard successfully reclaimed a brownfield around a historic mill, revitalizing a community with the input of many volunteers. Unusable space is now a public park, created with over 100 trees, a half-acre of green space, and on-site storm water management, bringing the community together for art shows, concerts, and public events.
