S2315, The Food Residuals Recycling Initiative, which had been held for study, is scheduled for another hearing and possible consideration by the Senate Environment & Agriculture Committee on Wednesday, May 14th.

The hearing will begin at the Rise of the Senate in Room 211 at the State House.

The Food Resdiuals Recycling Initiative is one of ECRI's Legislative Priorities for this session.

Also, at the hearing the Committee is scheduled to give their advice and consent on the reappointment of ECRI's Paul A. Beaudette to the Coastal Resources Management Council for a term expiring January 31, 2017.

ENTITLED, AN ACT RELATING TO STATE AFFAIRS AND GOVERNMENT -- CLIMATE CHANGE {LC5453/1} (This act would repeal the Rhode Island climate change commission and would create a climate change council in the executive department. It would suggest the impacts of climate change be taken into consideration by department directors.)
