The trails committee has been working in Rhode Island for 85 years, developing and improving trails for the enjoyment of Rhode Island's citizenry. They have battled erosion problems, built walkways and bridges across bogs and streams. In the spring of 2010 they gave more than 175 hours to repair damages due to historic flooding.
