2014 Chafee Leadership Sponsorship Opportunity

Remarkable Sponsorship Opportunity

15th  Annual Senator John H. Chafee Conservation Leadership Awards Dinner

Presented by the Environment Council of RI's Education Fund

Thursday May 8, 2014 @ Providence Marriott

Since 2000, more than 58 Rhode Island conservation projects have been honored with a Chafee award.  Eighteen provided nature appreciation and resource conservation education programs for children (inner city areas) and families. Others have focused on projects that physically improve the community: cleaner air and water, sustainable energy, more extensive use of recycled products, preservation of open space and wildlife.

A Senior Sponsor donation of $500 supports conservation leadership recognition, encourages interest in participation, sharing of technology, and stimulates innovation.

Specific Benefits of Sponsorship

Benefits include: recognition by the master of ceremonies, two tickets for dinner and the lively reception  and exposition. Approximately 150 to 200 environmental executives, professionals, officials, recipients, ECRI members and guests attend  this event, including the Governor. Plus, your logo receives a prominent position  in the event program book, on entry signage and on the projected graphics that introduce each segment of the program. The event also provides an opportunity to network with key Rhode Island environmental professionals and officials.

Beyond these benefits, you will receive the satisfaction of encouraging a broadening wave of conservation leadership  action that is significantly improving many critical aspects of Rhode Island life, often utilizing improving technology and innovation: Clean, sustainable energy, reduced pollution, securing clean water, restoring fisheries, revitalizing our farms, developing low emission transportation, converting 1900s buildings and brownfields into modern, high-tech, efficient, factories and offices, recycling everything that can be reused, all generated by an amazing array of community projects from nonprofits, industrial/commercial corporations, land trusts, municipalities and schools/universities and volunteers.
