Whereas ECRI has a decades long commitment towards the issues of proper waste management

Whereas the composition of the RIRRC board is critical to this issues, and

Whereas new members appointed to the board should be familiar with the functioning and challenges facing the board

Whereas Carole Bell has more than 20 years' experience in planning solid waste management within Rhode Island DEM and as an international consultant in waste management;

Therefore ECRI supports the appointment of Carole Bell to the RIRRC board and encourages the RI Senate to act on this nomination expeditiously.
